My Actifit Report Card: June 16 2021

Another hot and oppressive day here in central Arizona. Not much motivation to do much for my Wednesday Actifit report.

Even though I got out early the air was hot and stuffy with no wind to help matters. There was no way I'd be running today so I took a bit of a different route along some back roads and back by the rodeo fairgrounds (rodeo starts in a couple of weeks 🐎🐎🐎).

Fortunately not to challenging a route but the temperature hit 99 degrees pretty quickly (105 in the sun) so it was a bit tough on me. My knees ache but are (very) slowly improving.
Nice to see people finally out and about without those stupid masks anymore although a bunch still think that the covid will beat the sun, super dry air and triple digit heat.

Another oppressive day tomorrow with it only "cooling" off to the mid-90s by the weekend. It's so, so dry out west and the drought is extreme as well. The "rainy" season can't get here soon enough.
