My Actifit Report Card: June 12 2021

It looks like summer is here as the days are hot, dry and dusty. When is the rain going to fall!?!🌧🌧🌧

I spent a few morning hours over in nearby Mayer with Lulu exploring the dry, dry, dry Big Bug Creek for gold. Lots of shovelling gravel for just a few flakes

but at least Lulu had some fun exploring and chasing a few lizards basking in the sun.
Since I didn't spend a whole lot of time digging I had a bit of energy to head out for an afternoon walk to relax and enjoy the scenery around Willow Creek Lake.

The lake is still very low due to our multi-year drought but it's always nice to see a little bit if water and the granite formations if the area are fantastic.

It's an easy dirt trail along the lake and always popular with the people so I had plenty of company along the way with cyclists, runners but mostly walkers like me (it was still pretty warm in the afternoon but there was a nice breeze to help make us comfortable).
Not major hills or difficult trails so it was a great walk to wrap up my hot Saturday. Looks like it's going to be another hot day Sunday ☀️☀️☀️ so probably not much exercise. We'll see.
