My Actifit Report Card: June 9 2021

A hot day but a bit of a cooling breeze made my walk comfortable even when chugging up the ascents.

It felt good NOT to be in the car driving for hours on end. Almost 24 hours in 2 days left us both exhausted but at least the scenery was gorgeous in Utah.
My hip and knees felt ok this morning after our trip. It's still really tough to try any kind of "running" for the most part as they ache badly when I try. I still try and it will get better (someday 🤞).

I tried to vary my normal walking route a bit today by going along a few roadside trails and a couple of different side streets. Nothing too challenging but it was a little bit of change and a break from the usual.

Afterwards it was time to let Lulu have her fun at the dog park as she had been stuck in the car for that long trip and missed her friends. I got to relax in the shade and catch up on some reading and she had her fun.

I hope to head down towards Wickenburg tomorrow to hunt for gold before the hot, hot weather rolls in this weekend. It's 'only' supposed to be 93 or so instead of being over 100 in a few days. Hope it's a productive day.
