Check out the Snow Line!😊
For the moment it’s turning out to be a non snow year.........at my elevation!😇
They are saying our neighboring volcano Mt. Baker, is setting World records for snow this year!
I have always loved snow, but having it up higher makes it that much nicer!
In 40 minutes I can be deep in snow at Mt. Baker, and when I drive the same amount of time to the West, I’ll hit salt water!
It’s interesting to see the snow line, when you live in the flatlands when it snows, it snows everywhere!
Up here in the foothills of the Cascades, you can start your hike in the green grass, and end up with snow shoes on the higher trails!
Today’s @actifit hike took me and Liz up to a ridge where we could see this snow line frosting the Mountain.😊
I had spent part of the day at home, so we were chasing the setting Sun to hopefully make it to the ridge!😅
We made it, and the view was so worth it!🤗
They call this a “Round Robin” in aviation terms..... A quick trip up, and a return on the same path.
Such a nice way to end the day!🤗
Till tomorrow Silvertop Mike 😀
