Do you smell that Silvertop???
I can see the smoke moving through the trees!!!😳
I haven’t smelled that since last year, but you never forget that smell!
The Mrs and Silvertop headed uphill for our evening @actifit hike and nothing but blue skies.....
Up top the smoke was moving fast!
The plume could be seen rising from down on our street.
The complete valley is smoke covered, we are suspecting this is a hay fire!😲
Living out in the foothills we are safe, I hope everyone is.......

It was really stinky - not a good smell of wood burning like in the wood stove. Hopefully it was a planned burn and not a spontaneous combustion of hay. It's been so rainy here that they bale even when it's wet. That's a recipe for disaster!

We drove down the valley today looking for the fire, it was still burning @silversaver888! It is closer to our street than I thought, we think it might be land developers burning large piles of left over cleared trees and forest debris. We never found out exactly where it is, just lot's of smoke, everywhere you go it smells like a forest fire!
