Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Sunday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my report 😊. It's a new week and a new month too, hopefully yours is off to a great start. As for me the stepping continued unabated and it's now time to share how it all went plus some trending news of the day. Let's do this 💨.
So as usual, I kicked off with the fast paced brisk walking 👣 and jogging 👟 around the neighborhood. Just like yesterday the weather was fantastic and I really enjoyed that session 💯.
Come ten o'clock, I was back indoors where I showered 🚿 and rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally all quiet except for the usual political shenanigans 😹. With easing of the lockdown people can now travel in and out of Nairobi so the buses and trains have had quite a busy day. Of course they carried less capacity as they maintained social distancing 😹.
Globally, India continued trending with high positive cases 😱 Good thing is that many countries are sending relieve in terms of medical equipment. Over in Myanmar those resilient protesters kept going and in Colombia 4 days of protests have made the president cancel the planned tax reforms that would have taken more from poor people 👏.
Over in crypto land bitcoin continued it's sideways movement hanging around 56 and 57k. The action is with Eth as it's close to touching 3k👏. I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day.
Later in the afternoon was some weeding and leaf 🌿 raking in the backyard. Followed by my usual afternoon nap 💤, dreaming off until early evening when I got up feeling refreshed 💯.
I then continued watching some of the earlier videos and also the news. Another trending story is of the manchester united/ liverpool game that was cancelled as fans overwhelmed police and stormed the pitch😱. They were protesting the club owners who tried to get the club in the super league. Meant to generate more money 💰 for the owners at the expense of the fans and the usual football tradition.
As the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. As always I enjoyed the cool evening breeze as I made my way around the park 🌲. Finally made it back home 🏡 safe and sound calling it a day 🙌.
