My Actifit Report Card: July 23 2021
We played a couple of rounds of disc golf this morning. It was the older crowd in my age bracket. The three of us had fun - the weather was mild and not all that windy.
I scored at even and at +3 for the rounds. It was enough to win both of them. I felt like I was throwing backhand fairly well but was having issues with my forehand and approach throws.
The three of us are thinking of playing NSRA soon. Hopefully I can get a few more rounds in there before the tournament in mid August. I'm feeling better about the course but it is still more difficult than it should be for me.
A hawk was up on the train tracks watching the exciting game of disc golf:
The blackberries are getting ripe very fast. I froze and bagged a bunch this morning after I picked a bowl of them. It is more than we can eat so I like to save them for later.
I read an article this morning about new solar power technology that is supposed to be a thousand times better than the current solar crystals. I'm not sure I believe it but if they could manufacture such a panel it would really be game changing. Solar Cell Innovation
With this kind of efficiency perhaps an e-bike could be designed with a very limited battery and yet provide great performance through solar panels when light was available.
