My Actifit Report Card: July 17 2021
I was going to take a day of rest but somebody found my lost Wraith disc. This disc keeps coming back to me - I threw it in the river once and got it back months later. I just had to rush out to the course when I got a text about it being found.
I'm really happy to get it back. I was thinking about throwing a few practice throws out on the course when I got there but it was kind of windy. Some of the first disc golfers I ran across looked kind of grumpy. They didn't even want to say, "hello." You can definitely tell when something is not going all that well on the course, lol. My best guess is that they were storming around on the inside like an angry Yosemite Sam, if anyone knows who that is.
I figured it was probably best not to try some holes I have difficulty with when I'm a bit tired and it's windy. I ended up walking around a lot and taking some pictures and looking for my other lost discs.
One of the interesting places I went exploring today:
Part of tonight's dinner: (and part of tomorrow too.)
I found this Shark disc today:
I found this one while searching around for my lost Pharoah disc. I'm not sure what the duct tape is for. My guess is that it is a little too flippy and someone was trying to add more weight to it to improve stablility. This is actually max weight at 180 grams and surprisingly heavy for this DX plastic. I probably won't be bagging this disc and will likely give it away since there is no name or number on it.
I don't think adding duct tape to a disc is PDGA approved for tournament play, lol.
