My Actifit Report Card: July 11 2021

I did a long disc golf practice session up at the NSRA course. It still gives me a lot of problems on several of the holes. I ended up looking for discs a lot when I was practicing.

I lost my Wraith disc on hole thirteen. It was on a practice throw that did not work out that well. This hole gives me a lot of trouble. I put two throws into the bramble patch right off the tee. I managed to get them back but it took some time. The Wraith made it a lot farther but got buried in some tall grass and weeds on the hillside just beyond the fairway. It has my name on it so maybe it might find its way back to me someday.

I did manage to par hole six for the first time ever. It is the Christmas tree hole with basically no fairway. I found a good line to throw off the tee so maybe I will continue to do better on it. I usually take six throws on the par three hole.

I did manage to find someone else's disc when looking for one of my throws. I got that back to him by hiding it on the course. Right after that a group of four players came through and found my disc for me. It was right where I thought it might be but I did not see it in the tall grass. I was really happy to get the disc back.

In the evening my son and I played another eighteen basket round at our local favorite course. We both scored a +2. There was just enough wind to make it a bit harder to score well.
