My Actifit Report Card: July 1 2021
I did lots of dog walking and a little bit of disc golf today. Doggie loved it and we did alright too.
My son shanked a disc into the lake on the first throw. It was looking half okay and then hit a tree and landed a few feet away from the lake edge. We looked in the water but it was way to murky see it. My son wadded around for some time but couldn't come up with it.
After he called it he played the hole out and took eight stokes on a par three. After that he wanted to ditch the card. The wind started picking up about that time and I wasn't sure about playing out the rest of round having almost lost some discs recently as well.
Later on it really started dumping. Raining cats and dogs is what it was. Boy when it rains in Colorado it doesn't fool around. None of that gentle Pacific Northwest stuff.
Anyhow, it was a nice day for picture taking.

I remember always going to see my Gramps in Florida. Every day it would rain monsoon style around noonish for 30 to 30 minutes. Then in no time it would stop and dry up from the heat and you would never believed it had already rained.
What a beautiful day!
I think it is hard being young and wanting everything perfect. As we age, we understand that life isn't perfect, but, we can still be perfectly happy in this world. The day itself is a good reason to smile.
I like the effects that weather has on some things.
