My Actifit Report Card: June 14 2021
It was raining this morning but the weather report said it would clear up by 9 am so my son and I headed over to the disc golf course. The rain had stopped but by the time we got to the course it was coming down pretty hard again. My son and I were waiting in the car to see if it would clear up some, when our friend showed up.
Our friend seemed like he was raring to go so we jumped in and started a round. The first part of the round was pretty wet and windy and my son was not playing all that well. We had both changed out putters recently and I thought perhaps that the new putters were gliding farther in in the wind than he was used to.
I ended up wining the round and my friend came in one throw behind me. My son was not happy with his score.
Partway through the round a giant branch fell down and hit with a big thud. It was a long ways away from us and luckily nobody on the course was near it when it fell.

I have been very interested in the DLux platform and have been reading about it and listening to podcasts. I paced around the office a lot this evening while listing to podcasts in order to get my 10K steps.
When I saw the 360 degree photography on the DLux platform I got interested again in doing that kind of photography. Trying to do it on my smartphone was kind of difficult so... I ended up ordering a new 360 degree camera. I'm pretty excited to try it out and will certainly be posting some of the results on DLux.

Doggie was really enjoying the great outdoors, wasn't he? I can't blame him. The course looks really nice and it probably has some pretty interesting smells. Great game, especially with the conditions. It is always harder to score well in that kind of wind and rain. I have been upping my game in distance in the last few weeks. It actually feels pretty good, although some days it is hard to put in all those miles with little time.

I'm really excited to try it out. They still have not shipped it yet but hopefully it will get here soon. There are so many creative things I think I can do with this technology and 360 degree camera. It remains to be seen if I can do them though, lol. If nothing else it seems like the A-Frame and DLux system can add some interactivity to a post.
I like regular photography and picking a subject and framing it in but I've been interested in things that can add a bit more stereo image effect or a wider angle of view. There are a lot of areas in nature that feel much differently than a typical photo can show.
What kind of distance are you getting in your game?
I struggle with being creative. I am not really artistic at all, but, I appreciate anyone that is. I look forward to seeing what you can do with the 360.
My distance? Usually, 5-7 miles, depending on how much time I have, but once a week try a little longer. Last weekend it was 9.6 miles. I try for at least 4-5 days a week. If I only go 5 miles, I will go everyday.
I think you are very artistic both in photography and writing! I can relate to struggling to be creative. For myself it seems easier to try to get into a more regular pattern of behavior in which certain creative things are better able to flow.
