My Actifit Report Card: June 11 2021

avatar

My son and I played a couple of rounds of disc golf today. We played at the eighteen basket course by the river at first. The wind started to pick up about halfway through the round. I think I scored a +2 but thought that I did a lot worse than that. My son won the round with an even score.

After that we went over to the local nine basket disc golf course for a quick round. Both of us were having issues with the wind and not playing all that well. I think I ended with a -1 and my son a +2. He ended up deleting the card. I didn't think it was that bad, lol. We are used to scoring a lot better on the course and I recently have scored a -4.

Doggie got his usual walk as well. I can tell he is really enjoying being out there.

It was a bit overcast and cooler today but it warmed up a bit and got sunny later in the day. There was just a little bit of rain.

This flower is blossoming again and I took this picture of it today:

That's not a bad score at all. Sometimes it helps us appreciate how far we've come when we arent the best each time.

Anyway, you got out there and played two courses. That is the real win.of course, that is not competitive sounding, is it? :))

Our weather was much the same yesterday.Overcast this morning too. Doggie is probably happier with the cooler weather.

Is that an African Violet? It's an interesting shot! Have a great weekend!

I think it does help to have a few scores that are lower than usual. When I compare them to what I could do when I was first playing it is still much better. It makes the better scoring rounds all the more appreciated too.

It is an African Violet. There are such a variety of different colors. They seem to have gotten over the infestation of whatever bugs were bothering them.

If they are small white bugs, they may be aphids. Is it outside? Another common one is mealybugs. Mealybugs are about ¼ inch in length. They have soft bodies and are covered with a white waxy material that makes them look cottony.

I am fighting aphids on my petunias right now. I have never had them and now they are in every pot on my porch. Boo. I am giving them the dish soap washdown.
