My son and I played one round of eighteen basket disc golf today at our favorite course. We were having some issues with the wind. I was mostly having troubles with the upshot and drives but my son was having issues with putting. It seems like when it gets windy you can count on scoring five or more points higher than you usually do on an eighteen round course.
My new Crave disc is a bit understable for windy days. I wish that I had purchased one that was a bit more heavy. I usually use this disc for around three hundred feet or lower with a straight shot, so I thought I could go pretty light weight. I think I would have been better off with around 170 grams and the 159 gram disc is just a bit understable even with the Proton plastic. I'll need to throw it a bit more to really know though.
Sometimes it is hard to get a disc that flies just like the one you lost. Oh well. It seems like there is plenty of plastic out there still.
I am planning to take my new practice basket out on a camping trip. It will give me something fun to do.

I may have some very limited internet coverage for some time again. I'll try to check back in but you may not hear from me for awhile.
