My new discs came today:
I was not expecting them until Monday but they got here faster than they predicted. I just had to take them out to the course to test out after dinner.
It was pretty windy and slightly wet so it was difficult to get an accurate feel for how they fly. The new pink Pharoah disc is a bit understable. It might be a bit more stable than the gummy Pharoah that I first purchased. I like it better than the I-Blend version and it already bumped that disc out of the bag.
I'm not sure if I will carry two Pharoah discs or not - I will need to throw them under the same conditions to see if there is enough of a difference to bag them both. The metal flake plastic feels almost the same as the gummy plastic. I was expecting it to be a bit more stiff than it is. Maybe I should have ordered 170 gram disc instead of 164 gram if I wanted more stablity. I think these will be good as a main distance driver in this weight though and I have a spare in case I lose one.
I ordered the Envy putter disc kind of as a side issue because I like to order at least two discs so that the shipping is not as much of the total cost. I'm really glad I ordered it. From just briefly throwing it around this evening I can already tell that it is going to be a really good addition to my bag.
The Envy disc is just a bit less stable than my P3X that I usually use for most approach throws. It really holds an anhyzer well and I was making some nice long putts with it. It feels very nice in the hand and is easy to put some spin on. I will probably use it for long anhyzer putt and approach throws. I'm really glad that I purchased it.
