We played a disc golf round at the league tournament today. My son did really well. I did kind of okay. The course has some really long holes which are tough for me to score well on.
It was a lot of fun to be playing in the nice weather. For the first time in the spring league we had nice sunny conditions.
Most of my throws were about how they usually are. I'm still not able to throw as far as usual because of a little tenderness in the throwing arm.
After played the longer eighteen hole course in league play, my son and I played the shorter eighteen too. I was throwing my brand new discs that I got yesterday and trying to get a feel for them. I was hoping that the new I-Blend Pharoah would be more stable than my gummy one but it almost seems less stable. As it turned out most of my throws were turning over and burning worms. It seems like the shape of the disc makes it easier to get it on an anhyzer angle and putting more power on it did not help at all to get it flying right.
It takes me a while to get used to any new disc. I might purchase one more Pharoah in a more stable plastic and more weight. There are some nice ones available right now but they tend to sell out pretty fast.
Cyber dog guards the entrance to his lair. The bones of his victims are strewn about. Warning: death bellow ankles:
Just kidding, it's really just Doggie with his new anti-bark collar on. :D
Here's the view out on the course today:
I'm getting ready to crush that six hundred plus foot drive and that hundred foot putt for an eagle. Just kidding, lol.
