I played disc golf out on a difficult eighteen basket course today with my son and a couple of friends. I had a really difficult time with the course. It was just a bit windy but I think I was mostly just missing my lines. I was also trying not to throw too hard because I'm wanting to heal up to full by Sunday.
My new Pharoah disc goes a long distance but it is just a bit more understable than I would like. Once it gets up on an anhyzer line it does not want to fight back at all. I ended up throwing it out of bounds today on a slight left to right headwind. I'm ordering another disc in a more stable plastic.
I was throwing my new (to me) DX Wraith disc today too. It ended up turning a lot also and not doing what I wanted it to. It is pretty understable but the price was right - free. Of course if you want to score well on a round maybe it is better to throw something more reliable. I have a Pro plastic Wraith that flies a lot better for me.
It was fun to be out today and weather was nice. I ended up taking Doggie for a walk as usual and he really enjoyed it.
