My Actifit Report Card: May 7 2020

avatar

This morning I went on a nice long ride on the e-bike and met a couple of friends out at the eighteen basket disc golf course. The three of us played a fun round but did not save any scores. I think I went five over par for the eighteen holes.

I just got a new Fitbit this evening that tracks my heart rate. It is supposed to use the GPS on my phone to track the e-bike rides pace. I'll be interested to see how that works next time I ride the e-bike.

I remember having a heart rate monitor years ago that worked off of a chest strap. It was kind of uncomfortable to wear so I did not end up using it much. I also injured my knee and stopped running.

This new heart rate monitor is much more comfortable to wear and I'm interested to see how much of a workout I'm getting when riding.

I think it is supposed to give better statistics about the type of sleep you get as well.

I suppose I did not really need to get a different Fitbit but since the government gave me a nice check for extra cash I was feeling like getting something new. Perhaps one could consider it a work expense since I use the Fitbit every day to make these Actifit reports, lol.

The puppy is keeping my busy too. Here he is happily digging a new hole in the garden:

He seemed awfully proud of his handiwork.

This is a Pomeranian type dog. It is a smaller Northern breed type dog. We may have to give it a haircut soon, it was not used to the warmer weather we had today. (I'm not used to it either.)

If your heart rate is slow and you feel fine it means that your heart is efficient in circulating your blood @lightsplasher

My resting heart rate is 51 bpm. I'm not sure how accurate the reading is though, it seems kind of low.
