My Actifit (을씨년스럽다)

을씨년은 1905년 을사년에서 나온 말.
우리나라의 외교권을 일본에 빼앗긴 을사조약으로 이미 일본의 속국이 된 것이나 다름없었던 당시, 온 나라가 침통하고 비장한 분위기에 휩싸였다고.
조약이 체결된 1905년 11월 17일 이후로 몹시 쓸쓸하고 어수선한 날을 맞으면 그 분위기가 마치 을사년과 같다고 해서 ‘을사년스럽다’는 표현을 쓰게 되었던 것이 변해 을씨년이 되었단다.
지금 대구 거리 모습이 꼭 을씨년스러운 모습이다. 평소엔 저녁 식사 후 빈자리가 없는 카페인데 요 며칠은 사람이 없다.
