Nächstes Projektchen - Silikon erneuern - Meine Actifit-Report-Card: Juli 3 2022
Wer kennt sie nicht - unansehnliche Risse im Silikon hinter der Toilette.
"Jetzt haben wir so schön gestrichene Bäder. Kannst du das nicht auch noch machen?" 😻
Wenn die Holde so freundlich fragt, kann man wohl kaum nein sagen.
Außerdem wollte ich schon lange unseren "Delta Fugenschneider" ausprobieren.
Eigentlich ein cooles Gerät. Zwei Klingen im 90 Grad Winkel fahren an den Fliesen oder der Keramik entlang und schneiden das Silikon weg.
Bei nicht mehr schönen Silikonfugen klappt das auch sehr gut.
Da das Silikon hier ab der Länge nach bereits gerissen war, konnte der Fugenkratzer nicht alles entfernen.
Am Ende musste ich doch noch mit dem Messer nacharbeiten. Was aber nicht mehr sonderlich schwierig war.
So oder so bleiben aber oftmals an den Fliesen noch "dünne" Silikonreste zurück.
Ob das wirklich schlimm ist, weiß ich nicht. Mir wirde aber mal gesagt, dass zu verfugende Stellen tragfähig sein sollten.
Da Silikon genau dafür da ist sich einmal getrocknet mit nichts mehr zu verbinden, muss meiner Ansicht nach alles weg.
Mit Kratzen kam ich hier nicht weiter. Es gibt ja aber...
... Silikonentferner. Leider nicht bei uns im Haus. Also habe ich die Arbeit erstmal unterbrochen und wir holen morgen ein Fläschchen im Baumarkt.
Dabei habe ich auch gelernt das Silikonentferner nicht gleich Silikonentferner ist.
Der hier oben entfernt Silikon z.B. von Fliesen oder anderen Werkstoffen.
Es gibt aber auch Silikonentferner der Silikonöl z.B. aus Farben entfernt und Untergründe von Fetten und anderen Verschmutzungen reinigt. Der hätte mir hier nix gebracht.
Wenn ihr Euch also auch diesen Spaß gönnt, achtet darauf was ihr kauft. 😉

Ist übrigens eins von Europas größten Straßenfesten, wenn nicht das größte. Falls jemand in der Nähe ist, und uns besuchen kommen will.
