Actifit: A white birthday

Yesterday was my daughter's first birthday. I left work early so that I was able to have some of the cake my wife baked the day before.

It's made of baby dough without sugar substituded by apple and banana. Turned out quite lame for adults to be honest but my daughter liked it and its not so bad with coffee or whipped cream. :)

Getting home, however, was freaking dangerous. It started snowing in the afternoon and didn't stop even until now.

I took these photos yesterday night and its even whiter now. On the second pic you can see how dangerous my way home was especially since I'm driving with all-season tires only. I can't remember when we last had this much snow!

Must have been a birthday miracle for our little girl.

Although the cake looks like an elephant trunk but it looks nice and yummy. I guess your wife did not add sugar because of your daughter and having such great snow during her birthday period shows how special she is. Happy Birthday to her.

Exactly :)
As a matter of fact, I was the one who found the recipe :-D We wanted a birthday cake for her that she could eat as well rather than watch us enjoy her cake XD
