The rain was falling pretty steady by the time I got home from work so instead of taking Brownie for a long walk, I accompanied my wife on a shopping trip. We stopped at a couple stores to pick up some essentials, and a few nonessentials as well. Later, after we returned home the rain let up enough that Brownie was eager to take that long walk.

Fortunately I have a treadmill I can use when it rains, but I still need to take Brownie out, even in the rain.
