Vegetables and commodities in the lockdown
When we make some effort on agricultural land and gets the return in the form of good harvest then it is obviously a good things for a farmer. You can see that are made to harvest this year and Alhamdulillah this year harvest was so good. It is from the bank of pond which is used this year for tomato farming. Tomato is much growing and most favourite vegetables here in Bangladesh.
Now it's lockdown here in Bangladesh and for this reason there is some problem regarding the transportation and mass adoption with business so due to the situation the price of some vegetables is growing. Although emergency services and Agriculture is out of that log down but still as it is monitored by the the army and other forces then it is not possible for many who has little interest and work related to the agriculture to come out from the home. As much people cannot get that together for their business purpose so it is a bit difficult to maintain the price level of the commodities. In this rainy season the price of some vegetables remains at very low price level but some vegetables price are always high in this rainy season and from that context the price of commodities like vegetables are not high compared with the previous years situation although there is a lockdown this year today. If you just go to the market you will find that change of price is about 10 to 20%.
How good a country is is depends on how good this country on agriculture is. Whatever you do and how much technological is sound you are you must have some group who will cultivate food for your country otherwise it will be a very problem in the upcoming days for many of the countries. In my previous couple of blocks I have just mentioned this things that in this technological era we have a lot of Technology and production method but still we need food for our survival in any kinds of critical situation. And you know in critical situations when you will not export food. So self sufficient in terms of food is really important for the sustainability of any country and any country should focus on this sector she has that much amount of land. Thank you very much for stopping by
