Hi guys and thanks for stopping by!
HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY to all of those moms out there!💐
We started the day off with church this morning. It’s so good to be back at church again. The message was good 😇
We learned today at church, that the entrap the Gold Mine Trail has been closed by the folks who own the property it was on. The neighbor however, is opening an alternative entrance tha is essentially the same, but on his property, to allow the many hikers who use this trail, access. Very nice of him 😇. There is another entrance a little further away, but it intersects the trail in an area that is not nearly as scenic as the original one is. Check out @silvertop’s post for pics.
We were working on a greenhouse project. I purchased a small fan with a solar panel that has USB connectivity. It comes on when the sun comes up and goes off when it sets. Depending on how much solar the panel gets, determines the speed of the fan. It’s awesom for gently circulating the air.
I attached the fan at the main support of the roof.
I was surprised by my son and daughter-in-law who stopped by to drop off some fresh quail and duck eggs for me for Mother’s Day. They raise quail and have ducks.
I’ve never eaten either, so this will be a first. Christine tells me I have to bake something with some of the duck eggs as they make things that much fluffier. I will do that!😎
We met Jan for a shorter hike as we had to postpone getting started. It was a nice leisurely hike; no snail babies today. On the way dow, we ran into a neighbor and began a ‘crypto’ conversation with him. He said he’s going home to research crypto. I guess we got him curious 😁
I spent a little time in the garden swing today researching medicinal teas, and created a shopping list for herbs and tea.
Tonight after dinner, we’ll cut the Amish Apple Coffee Cake I baked as soon as we got home from church earlier today. Yum!😋
That’s gonna be it for now. Take care and get those hooves movin’, as @actifit-lamb would say!
