Hi guys and thanks for stopping by today!
It Friday!!😁😎 Work was busy and productive. Unfortunately 2 of 4 appointments were a no show for the morning, but it all worked out as some patients require more time than others and this has been the week for that.
I had a gal come in and she told me that the lumber mill between town and where we live, was on 🔥! I know how far back the lumber yard goes - almost to the base of Sumas Mountain, and I know how much lumber they store there. I stepped out of the clinic to see if I could see the smoke, and sure enough you could! I texted @silvertop and since he was out and about, he went by. It appeared, he said that it was in the area of the actual mill itself, where they process the logs. He said it was pretty intense with LOTS of smoke. If you’d like to see pics, check out his post. The good news is that the already milled lumber was not on fire! Whew!! It would have been bad if it had been!
After coming home from work, I fixed coffees and then we headed out for an evening hike that started out with a bit of daylight. We ran into our neighbor Chris and then a little further up, Joan, so our daylight got away from us as we exchanged pleasantries with them. This was the view from about halfway up the road to the west.
We didn’t run the ‘gauntlet’ as I’ve come to call it, as it was just the 2 of us tonight. Jan had bus driving school to attend.
@actifit-lamb is looking forward to tomorrow as it’s supposed to be great weather, so she’s chomping at the bit to go.
I’m looking forward to sleeping in in the morning a bit. I have kind of a love/hate thing with that as sleeping in can eat some of the best part of the day, but not sleeping in leaves me tired and drained. 😔
That’s gonna be it for now. Take care and we’ll see you tomorrow! 👣🐑🥰🔥😴☕️😇
