My Actifit Report Card: November 16 2020

Hey guys and thanks for stopping by today!

We got up kind of late this morning because we were up way too late last night! We had a couple of things we wanted to get done, but on my list was go to the post office and get my birthday present we ordered last week. As you might guess from the picture behind the Fitbit stats, I got a new Fitbit Sense for my birthday.

I also realized that until I got this post accomplished, I couldn’t make the switch as there is no way to transfer the steps from my Versa to the Sense. The unboxing.

We needed to go get gas for the generators as we were supposed to have a wind storm in addition to the millions of gallons of rain we got today. As of this writing, the wind has never materialized. The rain is another story.

I had an order for 4 pounds of coffee from my Portland, Oregon customer, so I needed to accomplish that as well. Green coffee beans before roasting.

I spent time between batches of coffee pacing as there was no way I was going put into that mess of rain to hike!

We spent about 2.5 hours on a Zoom call with Bill and Agi. It was so good to see them! It was a good time 🥰

@actifit-lamb and company are not happy about not hiking but they understand about the rain. She wants me to remind you all to keep on @actifit ‘ hoofin’ errrr - I mean steppin’!

Hey Elizabet, congratulations for your new birthday toy: amazing!

Yesterday it rained all morning, but in the afternoon and evening I was able to let the dogs run in the meadows despite the mud and puddles!

The roasting of coffee is interesting: are you better off making it yourself?

Hey @amico.sports! Glad you got out for a run! As for coffee, there is NOTHING better than freshly roasted coffee! Most coffee purchased in stores is already at least 2-4 months old and often is the bottom of the barrel if it's not specialty coffee. I have been roasting our own coffee since 2006. It's easy to get started. If you're ever interested, I can tell you how. Take care and thanks for stopping by!

Thank you for your offer: I will ask my partner if she is interested, because I don't drink coffee and she buys coffee in capsules ready to be put in the espresso machine. 🙏

With running I'm still on break, due to calf contracture... but @holydog runs on his own when I take him for a walk. 👍 !ENGAGE

Hey @amico.sports! I can also tell you how to make K-cups if that's the type machine you have. Anyway, no worries.
