Hey everybody and thanks for stopping by!

Sunday online church was awesome. After the sermon, the gal running the camera for FB live panned around the church so we at home, could see our church family that was there. It was awesome!

Afterwards, it was time to roast coffee! I had to do 3 pounds for us and 5 for a customer. This is one of the roasters just beginning with green beans in the glass carafe.

And, here is the finished product, bagged sealed and labeled.

After brewing an espresso for myself and @silvertop, we set out for a hike.

It was just a bit warmer than I anticipated, but it was still a perfect summer day! Sunny and breezy 😎 just like I like it!

@actifit-lamb was having a good time today. She was frolicking in the tall grasses and found herself in a purple flower heaven!

I had to get her out of there fast as it was also loaded with many buzzing bees! 🐝

So finally tonight, I took the plunge, and tasted a thimble berry. So, @practicaleric, they taste marvelous!! Very tart, with a light raspberry like flavor that sits on your tongue very nicely. I think they would make a lovely fruit spread.

I got two awesome shots of our kitties this morning. The sun was shining through the skylight just right. This first one is of Cotton, our youngest.

This next one is of our oldest, Cyle (pronounced K-Y-L-E)

They are such good boys!😻

Dinner was meal number two out of the rotisserie chicken. I made soup with it. It was delicious! Tomorrow will be meal number three. Pretty good for $4.99!

The evening is winding down and soon it will be time for bed. That’s gonna be it for now. Keep on @actifit steppin’! Take care and have a good night! 🥰😁😎👍👣💪🐝☕️😻🌸😇💕

Back in 2006, I had to go to Seattle to sit for my state boards for opticianry. We spent the night because the exam was in three parts and was to take the whole day. I picked up the phonebook (yes, back then they still had them)and looked for coffee importers and wrote down the names and phone numbers. I called them and found one who would sell to a private person. I roasted my first batch of coffee in a hot air popcorn popper outside. It was the best coffee I'd had and was hooked. We graduated to a whirly pop, popcorn popper and roasted that way for a while. It required quite a bit of skill to know when to pull it from the fire and begin the cool down process. Then, we modified a gas grill with a stainless canister on a rotisserie (hand cranked, of course) and eventually made the move to a tabletop commercial roaster; two of them actually, and the Just Plain Coffee Roasting Company was born. I did a website for a while, but honestly word of mouth, family and friends created the advertising we needed. The coffee has gone national in the past; all the way to NYC, and also to Japan. It's a very small, more like hobby thing now as we really don't want to be 'married' to it. Anyway, that's that story! The labels, I created and came up with the black coffee bags that are heat sealed.

As for thimbleberries.......let's just say that @silvertop and myself grazed a bit on the hike tonight, lol!

Take care my sweet sis, and thanks for your comments and questions.🤗🤗💕😘🌸

VPN is a virtual private network. It totally keeps you incognito from everyone. I only started investigating them when I had some issues trying to get to a popular dapp I use that was under DDos attack. It was the only way I could get in at the time. So now, I have a VPN for my phone and one for the computer. This particular company allows up to 10 devices, which is awesome. They say they don't work with satellite internet (which is what we have) but they do! I like the idea. Anyway, I hope this answers your question; sorry for the book, lol! Take care my sweet sis!🤗🤗😘💕🌸
