My Actifit Report Card: July 13 2020

Monday, Monday! I didn’t do my usual late sleep in today. I was ahead of schedule and my son called and then I wasn’t! But-it’s all good as I love talking with him.
After the phone call it was coffee time 😁☕️ I made a phone call to the car dealership to see what they had found out about the parts for my car. The good news-because I’d researched and found pricing online cheaper what they were going to charge me for the parts, they price matched what I found. The not so good news-it’s on 6 week back order and for whatever reason, they hadn’t called me to tell me that. Plus, no order without payment up front. Anyways, it’s a good thing I called!
We’ve been having a bit of an issue with another blockchain, so @silvertop started working on figuring that out and then I also came to see if I could help. It all got straightened out fortunately.
It was the week to go shopping and I prefer not to go on Tuesday’s as I have work the next day and can’t enjoy my last off day when we do. So off we went.
We had been to 2 stores and @silvertop wanted to walk to the next as it was fairly close and he wanted some steps. I drove because someone had to and arrived before he did. There was a fairly large flock of seagulls in the parking lot. This one approached me.
I started talking to it and it came closer and listened.
Then it struck a pose.
About that time @silvertop was approaching and held back and watched. We often joke about the neon sign over my head that says ‘Elizabeth takes strays!’ I’ve gained many a pet that way, lol!
We got home and I began dinner prep and paced a bit to get my 10,000 for the day. Actifit-Lamb took a break for the day. 😎

It is always great to be ahead of schedule. A habit ingrained by my parents to my siblings and I is getting out of bed punctually, immediately (and with heroism) as soon as I am awake to say my morning offering.
I love how that seagull is looking at you as you took its photo! What a great capture! Shopping day is always fun!

I used to get up easier than I do now; a lot of it is staying up too late. I've gotten worse about going to bed on time than when I was a teenager, lol! Today was a good day; perfect weather and nowhere to be; no timeline. I'm cooking a special spaghetti dinner for @silvertop and myself as I type and will be having dinner shortly.
