My Actifit Report Card: April 1 2020

I worked today but wasn’t really sure what the day was going to hold. I noticed first off that the doc’s mom didn’t come in yesterday as I thought she was going to. No big deal really, but it made me worry for her. I let some time go by before I did call the doc to see how he wanted to handle the extended shelter in place. I also was concerned about how my job was going to play out. Things are going to be ok with that and I’ve rearranged all of April’s appointments and his mom is ok 😎
After work I headed home. A little later we set out to do a shortened hike due to daylight limitations.
Actifit-Lamb was ready for the challenge as always.
Actifit-Lamb says you need to not over exert and take breaks while hiking! She chose this downed tree to rest for a few.
As we descended further we came out of the forest to a beautiful sunset. This illuminated the city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, off in the distance. If you look closely, you can see the city buildings.
We came home, watched a little world news on NHK World and now it’s time for Actifit and blogging. Then it will be time for bed.

That first photo of a shell reminds me of the shells on the beaches of Hawaii. I wish I was there! It is so neat that all shells are spiral, no matter their shape.
The doctor you work with must be young to have his mom still working in his office. Speaking about young, I have started to notice that quite a lot of people in the work place are all young-looking almost like high school kids, but they are not... it is me getting older, LOL!

Hey @silversaver888! He's 44 and she's 70. I've worked with him back at Walmart when he was fresh out of optometry school and 28 years old. He's a good guy to work for and I love his mom a lot! She is Russian, but born in China and migrated to the US. She has lots of stories, oh my! Tons of hugs my sweet!🤗🤗🤗 (and, yes you're right, the folks in the work place do look like they are fresh out of high school!😜)

Russian. She has an accent after all these years still. She is a nice lady!
