My Actifities and daily stuff on January 4 2022 ENG / DEU
Hello friends of a living world
With this post I'm sure I won't make many friends, but I want to tell you how I live and what comes to visit every night.
My apartment is located 200 meters away from the main street and therefore 200 meters away from the biggest supermarket in town, 400 meters away from the hospital, 600 meters away from the tourist part of the party mile and about 1.5 km away from 2 beaches.
So I don't need any other means of transportation than my feet and some flip-flops, neither during the day nor at night.
And still I live like in the pampas.
The view out the window shows only greenery, you can hear only the chirping of the... (no idea what they are called). Motorcycles do not pass here, because the road here is so muddy.
Sometimes there is also a small herd of cows on the grass in front of my door.
I don't like the nocturnal visitors, but nothing is perfect.
Of course, I also have two guard dogs that own the property and that I pay with an egg every morning.
I buy these boiled eggs along with some bananas from a woman who comes by here every morning.
At the moment this is also my only food, because I don't dare to go to the supermarket yet. There the temperature is measured at the entrance and I don't know the procedure in this country if you have increased temperature. I don't want to end up in some quarantine station just because I have a cold.
Of course I could also shop at one of the countless small stores, but I have made the experience that with my poor knowledge of Spanish and my skin color I am considered an easy victim to rip off and I don't feel like having to bargain for a few fruits, rice and other odds and ends. That's why I prefer stores where the products are priced out.
In the #Poliac competition I slip further and further behind thanks to my indisposition. More than a short walk on the beach is not yet possible.
Can you see the fountain of the running engine of the boat in the last picture, the beach photo? That's how we park here! With full throttle through the children up on the sand!
But there is a saying in German:
"The dead are counted at the end".
