It’s no secret that arsenal have been struggling to find a good midfielder pairing to protect the back 4! Partey has made one postion his own but the rest have shown no sign of securing the other position
Softest Granit I’ve ever seen
Xhaka tends to get the most game time but his always a mistake waiting to happen and his overall pretty lazy! His got a good passing range and the occationally worldie in him but his let us down way too much
Mo elneny, mo sideways passing
Elneney is another one that blows hot and cold, his game is pretty simple doesn’t take too much risk but sometimes he just doesn’t affect the game as much as we need
Oh Danny boy
Then there’s Cebellos not the greatest in defending but by far the most creative of the 3 I would like to keep him but his not the type to be played in every game
AMN at WBA
Now we come to Ainsley who has begged for a chance to play in the mid which he rarely gets and when he did he didn’t do too much so he goes on loan to West Brom and like Mavrapanos starts to put in Man of the match Performances
If this keeps up I’d be shocked to see Saliba, Mavrap and AMN not added into the first team and pushing for starts next year

Well AMN partnering Partey... it could happen. I did watch him in WBA and he looked good. More likely they'll sell him as it seems Arteta isn't convinced with AMN in midfield and they need to raise funds to be a proper left back as KT is a bit injury prone. But that said when Partey is on form he makes anybody look great. Even Xhaka haha. Hey he does put in a shift but he is lacking mobility. Who knows maybe he'll be the backup for KT. As far as Mavra, they'll perhaps bring him back with Saliba as Holding really isn't good enough and Luis may be finished as he's injured and his contract is done. My guess is they'll bring back Saliba and sell Mavrap. Cebellos is too inconsistent and he'll be sent back to RM. Elneney is a squad player and happy to accept that. Sometimes such players are useful. Depends on who they bring in if they'll keep him.
I have a soft spot for the young lads so id like to see him get a shot, but you're right I think Arteta will give him and willock the chop and try to bring in someone like Van aanholt or Amavi and try to get Saed out for some cash. Its going to interesting to see who he sells because Mari and gabby are his LCBs and now his got 3 RCB's, I feel like Mav will be sold too, which is a bit of a bummer I hope it doesn't turn into another gnabry or emi Martinez situation
Well true but it happens to all clubs with Gnabry type situations. I"m all for the youth as well but if given the chance and not producing then put on loan and then either sell or bring into the team. Willock has a great future but apparently his style doesn't fit in with Arsenal so they say. Nketia is gone as well. But yes we have many players on the books we need to make decisions on.
So only one of the four spots are locked in. It does seem like the other contenders for the remaining slots all have their own pros/cons so they may be good in some games and bad in others.
We'll have to see who we can get in, anyone partnering partey will have to be quality because he will be the bench mark
Maitland niles has been playing quite well at west brom,if they don't relegate they might consider signing him I think Xhaka should be sold off in summer ,partey is a really outstanding player I mean u gais were lucky to have signed him at the last mins.
Probably yes, I know if I was Brom I'd try to secure him, I know Newcastle and Wolves were also keen on him, would be all to happy to see Xhaka leave
