My Actifit Report Card: November 29 2020
Sunday.
The weather was fine, cold but sunny. I took a walk into the forest right after noon. There's this particular tree stump I noticed when I came through this part of the woods on Friday.
This is the one:
If you're an easy victim to #pareidolia, like I am, you will have already noticed why this mossy tree stump was worth walking all the way out here again.
I don't usually carry the right size of #googlyeyes with me, big enough to fit his magnificent eye sockets, so it took an extra trip.
May I introduce you to Mr. Manfred Mossfur, but you can also call him Mossy Manny or Furry Fred if you so prefer.
And just as he opened his eyes, he got to see some sunshine for the first time in his life.
A familiar feeling, that warm tingle on the back of the neck, but a whole new experience now to see the radiance of the light.
Winter is coming to the forest and Fred wil have some long and cold nights ahead of himself.
Enjoy the moment while it lasts before you close your eyes.
I'll let him sleep for the winter because I don't feel comfortable leaving two huge plastic eyes behind. But maybe, when the time has come, I'll show him what spring looks like?!

Oh, Mossy Manny must have been the most happy creature in the universe today! Look at him first without the eyes, a bit sleepy and sad. And what a difference with those huge eyes! He could see the sunshine 🌞 and a probably a grateful look was shown towards his creator!
