[ESP/ENGL] Cinco sabios refranes venezolanos (Sexta Parte) // Five wise Venezuelan sayings (Sixth Part)
This is the saying suggested by my friend @actioncats which is widely used by her grandmother, who is already 98 years old! awesome, right? Well, the meaning of this saying is to emphasize something that is impossible or extremely difficult to achieve, since none of the situations in the saying are feasible.
I use this saying constantly, especially to encourage myself, and I heard it many years ago from a friend one day who was very distressed and everything was difficult for him. If you analyze it, the meaning is 100% true, since the same things do not happen all the time, there are good days, bad days and neutral days; that is why we cannot expect the same to always happen, since change is a universal law.
I think this saying is a bit cruel, which is why I use it very rarely. It applies when someone believes, is excited or willing to go, do or participate in something, that is why it is said that he does not dress, and is not invited or has no interference in the matter (that you do not go).
Said that I extracted from my grandfather's book, it applies when a member of the family behaves in an exemplary and ideal way outside the home and with people outside his family, but indoors, in his family nucleus, it is the opposite; That is why it is said that in the street it is light and in the house darkness.
I also got this saying from my grandfather's book. This saying has its origin in bullfights, (they seem horrible and cruel to me), and refers to the moment when the dying or already dead bull is tied to mules to be dragged to the corrals. It is used when an individual is so drunk that he loses track of himself and is therefore ready to retire home. There are very few people who use it to refer to someone who is dying.

Muchos saludos.
