Finally the Giant Cactus Flowers of My Garden have Bloomed!

Hello everyone! Yesterday was Sunday and as I anticipated, I would have spent it in the garden if the weather would have been clear.

Ciao a tutti! Ieri era domenica e come vi avevo anticipato l'avrei passata in giardino se il meteo sarebbe stato sereno.

When I opened my bedroom window in the morning, the light blinded me, it was a wonderful day!

Quando la mattina ho aperto la finestra della mia camera da letto, la luce mi ha accecato, era una giornata stupenda!

After breakfast I went out to see if the cactus flowers had blossomed, there was still little left!

Dopo colazione sono uscito per vedere se i fiori dei cactus erano sbocciati, mancava ancora poco!

So I took some pictures of the other flowers and then very slowly I started to prepare everything needed for a small grilled fish.

Così ho scatta alcune foto agli altri fiori e poi con molta calma ho iniziato a preparare tutto l'occorrente per una piccola grigliata di pesce.

A positive aspect of this period of coronavirus is that the air is much cleaner, smells good, if you can easily smell the flowers even if you walk close to them.

Un'aspetto positivo di questo periodo di coronavirus è che l'aria è molto più pulita, ha un buon profumo, se sente facilmente il profumo dei fiori anche solo camminandoci vicino.

I cooked a sole and a sea bass and then I thought to add some sardines, an unusual type of fish to cook on the grill as it is very small, but I wanted to try the same.

Ho cucinato una sogliola e un branzino e poi ho pensato di aggiungere anche delle sardine, un tipo di pesce inusuale da cucinare alla griglia in quanto molto piccolo, ma ho voluto provare lo stesso.

By sunset, the cactus flowers were beginning to bloom and I was ready to photograph them.

Verso l'ora del tramonto i fiori dei cactus stavano cominciando a sbocciare ed ero pronto a fotografarli.

The sun had set and I thought that by now it would not bloom that day, however, after dinner, most of the flowers bloomed!

Il sole era tramontato e pensavo che ormai non avrebbe fiorito quel giorno, invece, dopo cena, sono sbocciati la maggior parte dei fiori!

We waited for the cactus to bloom to fix the wall.
Unfortunately we will have to move the cacti and it will not be an easy thing because they are very large and heavy and handling them is not easy.

Abbiamo aspettato che il cactus fiorisce per sistemare la parete.
Purtroppo dovremo spostare i cactus e non sarà una cosa facile perchè sono molto grandi e pesanti e maneggiarli non è facile.

This morning, I managed to take more photos with a warmer although very harsh light.

Questa mattina, sono riuscito a fare altre foto con una luce più calda anche se molto dura.
