Le Riserve Naturali Orientate e Protette sono il principale “terreno di caccia fotografica” dei fotografi che amano l'ambiente e gli animali e che, nel corso dei loro appostamenti, colgono accuratamente dei magnifici esemplari di creature selvatiche nei luoghi in cui vivono abitualmente. La fotografia degli uccelli rappresenta un valore aggiunto rispetto al “birdwatching” e al riconoscimento dei diversi animali.

Nei medesimi parchi gli appassionati più esigenti possono rintracciare anche i minuscoli insetti destinati a diventare i soggetti delle macrofotografie attraverso le quali ammirare la perfezione di questi organismi e l'armonia con la quale si accostano ai fili d'erba e alle gocce di rugiada. Per questo tipo di riprese occorre utilizzare attrezzature particolari e rispettare orari proibitivi, ma i risultati di solito premiano i sacrifici e l'abnegazione dei fotografi.

L'eleganza estetica e la qualità tecnica del materiale realizzato risultano evidenti, ma spesso, per la perfezione dei dettagli o per il caratteristico comportamento degli animali, questo genere di fotografie assume anche una valenza scientifica.

The Oriented and Protected Nature Reserves are the main “photographic hunting ground” for photographers who love the environment and animals and who, during their stalking, accurately capture magnificent specimens of wild animals in the places where they usually live. The photography of birds represents an added value compared to “birdwatching” and the recognition of various animals.

In the same parks, the most demanding enthusiasts can track down even the tiny insects destined to become the subjects of macro photography through which they can admire the perfection of these organisms and the harmony with which they approach the blades of grass and dew drops. For this type of shooting it is necessary to use special equipment and respect prohibitive times, but the results usually reward the sacrifices and self-denial of photographers.
The aesthetic elegance and technical quality of the taken material are evident, but often, due to the perfection of the details or the characteristic behavior of the animals, this kind of photographs also takes on a scientific value.
