I like how in the video he put "No image/content compression" as one of the Pros...

I always thought that Facebook's great compression of the images is one of its great points. I don't care about vibrant colors/4K/8K myself to notice a difference.

It all depends on what you want. For everyday stuff it may not matter much. It can even save bandwidth. But when you are professional photographer or artists you wan to [resent your work in the best possible way.

I used Vero for a while 2 years ago, it seemed targeted to photographers and artists, Zack Snyder has a profile there and posted often, which did not help to get more users into the platform. At the end I left because it looked like Italian gay men used the site to share nudes
