Scientists have come to the conclusion that sea levels are growing faster than the worst forecasts. By the end of our century this level will rise by more than 1.3 meters. Since most of humanity lives in coastal regions, rising sea levels are considered the most dangerous threat.

1.3 meters compared to its the current level? Or 1.3 per year by then? I believe we'll find a solution before it becomes a threat though. But it's worrisome that it's growing faster than the worst forecasts...

As I understand it, this is a value relative to the current level. But not 1.3 meters, but only 1.1 😃
