I never used it in years too. Though I didn't use Winamp a lot then either...
I now switch between GOM Player and Media Player Classic depending on the audio/video file...
On mobile? MX Player.

At the time I didn't even know what the word plugin mean... (I did use mods/plugins for some applications/games but I didn't know what I was doing at the time...)

By the way, late 2000s was a strange time for software in Libya. We didn't know a lot about how software is made & distributed. Most software being sold (including Windows OS) was hacked/pirated stuff sold at fraction of the original price, and we still thought it was expensive!
