In my recent art purchasing spree on @nftshowroom, I picked up "Cyber-POP" by @danielvehe. The artist gifted me the other edition in the set! It's a great piece of art with a different aesthetic.

  1. Goodwill/promo
  2. Gifted items don't affect valuation, but remove supply from market
  3. Receiver can choose to burn
  4. Artist can claim gift as a tax write-off at last sale price (check local laws)

Gifting art can be positive for artist and receiver
