Una buena lectura es invaluable / A good read is invaluable

Vi recientemente esta imagen, por casualidad, no por estarla buscando, y me pareció muy ilustrativa de lo que realmente significa la lectura. Seguro que están pensando muchas cosas al mirarla, me ocurrió eso, mi mente voló y quise compartir una publicación al respecto, acerca de la lectura.

I saw this image recently, by chance, not because I was looking for it, and I found it very illustrative of what reading really means. I'm sure you are thinking a lot of things when you look at it, that's what happened to me, my mind flew and I wanted to share a post about it, about reading.

Leer para mi es un hábito constante, y no se trata sólo de pasar el tiempo o de ir en contra de esta actual norma social de sólo internet, video juegos, o hacer deporte para ser fitness, no, aunque definitivamente un poco de actividad física no me caería mal. Me refiero a que a lectura para mi es un bien preciado por todo lo que en mí deja, en el crecimiento que hace que ocurra en mí, no tiene precio.

Reading for me is a constant habit, and it's not just about passing the time or going against this current social norm of only internet, video games, or doing sports to be fitness, no, although definitely a little physical activity wouldn't hurt. I mean reading for me is a precious commodity for everything it leaves in me, in the growth it makes happen in me, it's priceless.

Pero el valor es incalculable, cuando lees es como si estuvieras pasando a través de un canal especial una cantidad de información valiosa, ese canal es visual, por supuesto, y va directo a nuestra mente, a hacerla mucho más sabia, y sé por experiencia propia que todo lo que se aprende termina por ser utilizado en algún momento, y es la forma en la que nos surgen muchas ideas, ya que nos da herramientas.

But the value is incalculable, when you read it is as if you were passing through a special channel a lot of valuable information, that channel is visual, of course, and it goes straight to our mind, to make it much wiser, and I know from my own experience that everything that is learned ends up being used at some point, and it is the way in which many ideas come to us, because it gives us tools.

Por esto y más, leer será mientras pueda hacerlo, una de mis actividades favoritas, porque cuando se trata de nutra de nutrir nuestras mentes es una clara y rápida forma de hacerlo, el conocimiento es incalculable, ¿por qué debe ser tan limitado en nosotros?

For this and more, reading will be, as long as I can do it, one of my favorite activities, because when it comes to nourishing our minds it is a clear and quick way to do it, knowledge is incalculable, why should it be so limited in us??
