Great expectations - Grandes expectativas (o esperanzas)

Or not?

The title of this post occurred to me when I saw this classic novel by Charles Dickens in my library, although what follows does not mention absolutely anything about the book, only the title.

Since yesterday Hive is erratic, it is difficult to publish, vote, claim rewards, that is, practically all the functionality is diminished. Then I remembered the fork!

This morning I got up early, as is customary for me, and when I connect I observe that my voting power is at 100%, that means that my few automatic votes of the night have not worked, so I started to vote by hand as I usually do , read posts and vote depending on the quality of them. My intention also included voting for those who publish late and on which I have automated but I found the news that it was not possible. That is to say, you can vote but the famous clock is left spinning and never places the vote or changes the color of the arrow. In theory all this is due to the hard fork, although the problems have been dragging on for several days and the confusion is great.

I tried with Peackd, with Hive.blog and only with palnet.io I was able to do something, this tool surprises because something always works, I don't know how they do it, how they communicate with the blockchain or how their APIs are programmed but something can always be done. The only thing I could never do from her is claim rewards.

Well, then there is the dilemma of whether to publish or not (of course if it is possible), because developing a publication like my style, with writing, photographs, sometimes fiction and other issues is laborious and costs a lot in time and dedication. If no one votes for it later, I will have lost that which is irretrievable.

It has already happened to me the week before, a couple of publications on which I had high expectations were a failure, few votes, no comments and of course a negligible collection.

I always say that this activity is beautiful, I like to prepare topics, develop, edit and publish them but I also like to receive comments and votes, we not only live to do, but also to receive some kind of recognition or reward. How we know if our work works or not, by the reaction of others to the result.

I keep my expectations and hopes high, I expect good things from the hard fork and that is why I am going to post this. But please Hive, fix the problems once and for all.

Thank you.

¿O no?

Gracias.
