Fairytale by Ludovico Einaudi With Speed Drawing Video
I know, I know, vacations are on, officially I should just do nothing and rest. But ... I just can't resist playing the piano and bothering my niece playing it together, or listening to music, hanging out in the city in the evenings, putting together a 3,000-piece puzzle, or drawing. More precisely, she draws and I support her.
I’ve never been pretty good at drawing. I know it's a matter of practice too, but you need the talent to see the idea in your head and put it down on paper. So, my niece can draw very well and has already had some exhibited works, but since she went to university, there is not so much time for this wonderful activity. She is now learning countless types of music history, yes, she chose music for her career. And she's very good at it, she rocks in all the subjects.
This afternoon, I suggested making together a mini-project. As I recorded the audio of a piano piece still back in Spain I asked her to draw upon the music. I wanted to make a speed drawing video. The music I recorded is a sweet (maybe too sweet for my taste, but we should not discuss tastes) piece, composed by Ludovico Einaudi. Fairytale.
This drawing-music mini project will not be a typical fairytale. Actually, not a lot of story at all, sorry admin @edje, but it will come to this community :) . The drawing represents a fairy, but not a pink or fluffy, happy version of it. No sparks, no magic. It will be a black fairy with long black hair, standing among some clouds in a monochrome dream, that came out from the imagination of my niece. We recorded the video and put together with the music I mentioned, and voila. Ok, the video is not perfect, she accidentally moved the paper and later we didn't realize it was a bit crooked. But I love her way of drawing! And her speed :D The video is sped up 10 times, so the process of drawing was that ten times longer then the length of the video. In the meanwhile, I was there, giving her my feedback, but anyway she made it so well that it was absolutely unnecessary to say anything.

Those hands are great both for drawing and piano, but they are my niece's hands. She is great in piano also, but I can't draw like she is doing here in the video. We made this mini-project together one afternoon :)

Yo admiro mucho esa habilidad que tienen algunos, como dices tú, un talento especial para plasmar en dibujos sus ideas, en mi familia uno de mis hermanos es el dibujante jeje, yo nada de nada. ps It's indeed not too easy to transform something in mind to paper, but it's quite a bit easier to copy eg a lesser complex cartoon figure or something. That is what I did as a kid. I think a good way of learning. Back then, I also tried to draw my parents, from real life... But these attempts where always horibble. My parents looked like their current age, while we are at least 30 years after these attempts 😜

WEEHOO! How nice! Another House party! Cooooool... Euhm, just listened to bits of the most popular tracks of this Gramophondzie guy, not really, think, too simple, happy and commercial, but that doesn't matter at all. I'm not the reference. When so, most of the electronic dance would not be created and played while many really really like a lot of the stuff I don't like. Anyways... Looks like a great little event, from the looks of the photo. Some lights here and their, small, and not too crowded. Super super super. Soon and you gonna ask me which clubs and festivals in Barca and surroundings you shall go to hahahaha Not that I know that much, but I know a few goto places, or at least, places that are interesting enough to spend some time at :)

It was by a small river (actually a canal, same spot from the last photos from here . There were not too many people, and that made it more relaxing. Also, I liked the modest lighting and that atmosphere, so as I said, it was a nice evening.

So, my only comic experience is when my husb watched at least for 10th time Deadpool, so some glimpses of that kind of humour that I saw.

No, wait, my cristal ball says that you have no time for buying and reading that kind of stuff... But, it clearly states that you will write a comic book with own topic, with a lot of story, a bit of images, some green and red candles going crazy up and down, charts, numbers, AND with a special feature when you open each page, different music track and composition will be heard while you read the current page. Plus, spiced up with some nice recipes as you will maybe have compassion to some "overweight" peeps that will need a diet. Well, for this last, to shortcut the effort, you can leave just a simple message: bury your spoon and don't eat.
