Yes there are mosquitoes and flies in the country at times but not too bad. When I lived in the city there weren’t any there. I was outside working in the flower garden yesterday and there wasn’t any bothering me. There is ointment ( called fly dope locally) you can put on to keep them away but I never do.

Haha. Yeah that’s the name we always gave the fly repellent you buy.
I find if you put some Vick’s behind your ears and on your wrists it will keep the flies away. Albeit you will smell like you are trying to get rid of a cold. 😀
Oh I didn't know that. That's a good piece of advice to remember. Thankfully we have almost no flies in our area for some reason and I hope it stays that way!
