Alphabethunt Challenge - Letter T

Alphabethunt is a challenge that brings so much joy. Not only when creating post with words that illustrate a letter, but also reading the posts of the others and finding new words. Wonderful artist @barbara-orenya is hosting this amazing challenge and it is hard to believe how quickly the time passed and now we are in the week of T letter. My hunt for words will start with cosmic theme, kinda.

Telescope

My reflector telescope on the balcony, where I am stargazing. For beginner, like me it is a good piece of equipment. Soon I realized that I cannot make great astro photos. The best are the ones I made of the Moon and its surface. But it is a great pleasure to observe the sky and to see the planets and their moons, the stars that cannot be seen with naked eye. The light pollution of the town is an obstacle to see more from the deep space objects.

Twinkle

Twinkle, twinkle little star
How I wonder what you are...

This is Sirius, the brightest star from Canis Majoris constellation. The only image I took of a star. The smartphone is attached to the eyepiece of the telescope like that.

And this is how I shoot the star.

I made a short clip which I turned to a gif file. This will give better idea of the twinkling star.

Sirius is now seen on the sky of the Northern hemisphere early in the morning. Easy to spot as it is very bright and close to the Orion belt.

TARDIS

TARDIS stands for Time And Relative Dimension In Space. If you have seen Doctor Who, the TV series, then you know what I am talking about. The Doctor is a Time lord and Tardis is his space ship, bigger inside than outside and looks like police box. To illustrate that word I used a card and piece(token) in a shape of tardis from Monopoly game, special Doctor Who edition. I add a filter to make it look more cosmic.

Theremin

This is a small version of the electronic musical instrument named after its inventor Leon Theremin. The performer plays without touching it. The instrument has two anntenas and the performer by moving his/her hands near the anntenas controls the sound. There is an amplifier attached to it. Our theremin is with one anntena and it is not easy at all to play with it.

After some cosmic words, even the theremin has a sound that is out of this world, I am back on the earth with the last two words.

Tuk-tuk

Tuk-tuk from Bangkok. They are urban vehicles, that can be hired and tourists love them, or they can be for private use. Usually threewheeled, like this one.
Here I have double hit as this tuk-tuk is a taxi. We were waiting for our taxi outside the JJ market, which wasn't tuk-tuk, where I made this photo.

Toucan

It won't be me without a picture of a bird. This toucan was on a display together with many parrots in a mall. The toucans have large bill and tney can be easily recognized by it. They live in Central and South America.
