Sublime Beautiful Sunday | Journey Down Memory Land with Loved Ones

It's Sunday... And it's time for another Beautiful Sunday and Sublime Sunday. So, I'm trying something different this week. After all this week is totally different from any other week at all.

Oh yes ! This is my first out of my 3 weeks 🏩 quarantine experience and my second time in quarantine in the last 2 months. If you had followed me, you would've seen my blogs about going home after 13 months to see my family, enduring 7 days of 🏩quarantine, getting released on my birthday, spending 4 weeks with my family, encountering partial city lock-down in 🇲🇾, 🛫 back here for work and now back into quarantine again for another 3 weeks. That's a lot of things happening in a spam of less than 2 months.

At times like these, when I have all the time on my fingertips ...

Literally speaking since I'm under quarantine, I'm sort of free. There's only so much office work I could do, then my brain is tired. Even walking around room & doing some simple basic exercise is kinda bored after a while. The TV channels are worst as it keeps repeating the same news or movies or tv series or etc. Netflix or my TV box (on my Mac) don't really interest me.

I went down memory lane of what had happened in the last couple of weeks. Time really do pass by fast and before you know it, it's the end of the home trip and time to leave. I'm glad I managed to spend some good quality time with my family, in some ways thanks to the increase of Covid-19 cases within my 🇲🇾, children are forced to conduct home online study and citizens are restricted to leave their homes. Restaurant are not allowed to take dine in towards the last week.

This is US celebrating my birthday 😍. My eldest son offered to buy us dessert to celebrate which is very generous of him. Of course, I couldn't let him pay for the entire bill so I contributed to sponsor part of it. We did go to his favourite dessert place and ordered his favourite dessert, of course.

Sometimes it isn't the place we go or the food we eat but with whom we enjoy it with that is the most important. I can tell you that because being with them just makes everything worthwhile. No amount of money or duration of quarantine can overtake the happiness of being with my family.

I'm glad I have these memories to hold on to since it will be a long while before I can see them again. Truth be told, it took me the entire 4 weeks to spring clean & tidy back the house to the way I want it and by the time, I was done with it, I'm leaving 😩

Guess I'll have to wait till my next trip !
