In a time when we will never re-live the earth was in one of its customary glaciations and the entire north of the planet was under ice.

In the geographical area of what today in Venezuela we know as the coastal mountain range there was a forest with many different types of very tall, very large trees, the spectacle was fabulous, never seen animals lived in those forests, they fed on the vegetables that Some grew and others ate those vegetarians suddenly the earth began to move and an end-of-the-world cataclysm began to develop in those places, large pieces of soil sank, huge cracks opened, trees fell and a huge portion of the mountain broke away and buried much of this forest under tons of rocks and earth.

In a matter of seconds, a new landscape appeared there, there were no trees, only mud rocks, there was no trace of vegetation or animals in a space of several kilometers around.

The avalanche had buried that beautiful landscape, then after thousands and millions of years, little by little grass and other trees grew in that place now turned into a hill where previously what was a small inclined plain and a new geography was formed above the one that was buried when unleashing terrible forces of nature that modified the history of life on the planet.

Thus, millions of years went by until a young girl in her curiosity and walking along a path through the mountains of Los Teques in the town of Pozo de Rosas entered one day in the grounds of a quarry where she could observe some stones that had a variety of all green very beautiful petrified remains of a prehistoric landscape now disappeared.

Currently these rocks are processed by breaking them into small pieces that are used to decorate public gardens and pedestrian walkways.
