Living and surviving

The human world is simple but complex to live in. Many things change within the twinkle of an eye and you wonder when it happened.

Most times, before you close and open your eyes, many things would have happened in sequence. This makes you lose every bit of sanity.

In this world, money is a factor that determines relevance. Its in fact, determines your survival and continued existence.

When you have money, you have a better chance of living your dreams but when you don't you simply survive today to live tomorrow or another day.

Those with money buy things they need and importantly, they can adequately cater for their medical bills without necessarily begging or asking people for help.

Those without money can hardly buy anything they need. Most times, they just buy things they want to survive the day.

People like this can hardly pay for their hospital bills. For them, going for medical check ups when they are not sick is a waste of resources and importantly, the resources they don't have.

This world is divided by this factor. We have the haves and the have not. The haves are those with money and can afford basic need. They can simply be regarded as the living beings.

The other set of people are those that can hardly cater for their wellbeing. Meals are not assured and they, most times, eat what is available not what they truly want to eat.

These set of people are those surviving. They appear to be living but they are not, they are just surviving.

Like the common saying in Nigeria that those without money miss road coming to this planet. It goes to show that money is a factor when talking about the living.

Or what is living about a being without meal, shelter, dream, future or money to pay for hospital bills or cater for himself without necessarily asking for public help to do things on his own?

Such is the life of many who are in this world and appear to be living but they are actually surviving.

It is important to note that you have the power to will your fate. You can decide whether you want to live in the future or survive.

If you are already in your future, then retrace your steps to see what you did wrong and see if it can be corrected.

Remember, hope was the only thing left in the Pandora's Jar. This means once you have life, you have hope but hope without action, planning and decision will get you nowhere.

While you are figuring it out, understand the fact that to live is greater than surviving. So live!!!!
