Buy lie, then sell the truth

The world is truly a funny place. While some people are out there trying to survive in a legit way by hustling, some are also trying to rip them off their hard earned money.

As we have legit and real hustlers, so also the fake and scammers out there. No doubt, they look like they are more than the real folks.

Virtually everyone is scared of everybody around them. Trust is the hardest thing to get these days.

No matter how innocent you look or kind you are or appear to be, trust is something you are not going to get on a platter of gold.

This explains why people say it is earned. While they are not far from the truth, it is not easy to earn anybody's trust in today's society.

I don't blame anyone for that really. It is not the fault of the honest ones. They have been dealt with, their relatives or someone they know has been dealt with by the fraudulent people.

While all i wrote above is the reality of the world today, it makes it hard to see genuine people.

No doubt about that. We might need to do extra to see those genuine folks but they are out there.

What prompted this writeup was an airdrop by Maka, a P2P exchange that gave out $35 of TOMO to participants.

The money looks ridiculous to some people considering the fact that TOMO is an established coin competing with USDT in price.

Many people ignored the call and left the task. Surprisingly, all those who legitimately participated were rewarded their TOMO.

I got 15 TOMO from the campaign

The message here is, there are scammers out there, fraudsters everywhere and i get it. But you can't truly differentiate if you don't try.

One off the things to note is NEVER pay for anything. Don't be greedy in buying any. If you just fill the form, perform task and move on, you are good to go. It is airdrop, let it stay that way.

So if someone tries to sell a lie to you, you need to at least listen because that lie might be the truth you will be telling others in near future as i did about Maka.

If you buy the lie and it turns out to be lie, it takes nothing away from you. Like in the case of the airdrop, you can always unfollow whatever account you follow.

Never outrightly write off anything or anyone. Give everything and everyone a fair hearing and chance.

You might be the one profiting from just listening and giving someone a chance or listening ears.

Thanks and hope you learn to listen, buy the lie and sell the truth.
