Mr Lecturer

Mr Ademola bowed his head in shame as the police officers walked him out of the room. Ironically, he was excited that the police had gotten there in time to stop the torture he was going through. With a bloody noise and hands handcuffed to his back, he gently got on their van. All he had on was just his singlet and boxer but he cared less. All he wanted was to get very far away from this place and the angry group of people that nearly beat him to death some few minutes ago.

Becky immediately picked up some of her stuff which she had left in the room before getting into the car with her boyfriend, Mike. The duvet on the bed had some bloodstains on it but that was none of her business. The police had asked her to follow them to the station so that she could give her own side of the story and she was more than willing to do that. Mr Ademola had been a big torn on her flesh and she couldn't wait to see him suffer.

Becky, a final year student at the Obafemi Awolowo University had just written her final exams when she got news that her lecturer had requested her presence. At first she was a little bit scared because all through her five years of being in that school, this was the first time a lecturer would be inviting her to his office but she had gone anyway.

“Good afternoon sir. I heard you wanted to see me”. Becky said immediately she got into the office.

“Becky Becky.. Please have a seat”. Mr Ademola said to her while grinning sheepishly.

Fifteen minutes later, Becky was out of the office and headed straight for home. She made sure no one saw the tears in her eyes that was threatening to spill out.

“Why me?” Becky asked herself countless times on her way home. She couldn't believe what Mr Ademola had said to her in his office.

“Rockville hotel, 5pm..Don't be late”. The words of her senior lecturer kept on echoing in her head. Becky knew she couldn't keep this to herself, she needed help. So she called the only person she knew she could confide in, she called her boyfriend Mike.

Mike was furious when he heard everything Mr Ademola had said to his girlfriend.

“He wants you to sleep with him or else he will fail you?” Mike asked her after she was done telling him everything. He knew if it was up to him he would march down to the man's office right now and teach him the lesson of his life but he knew he would be arrested immediately and locked up. So he came up with a plan.

“Wait until he strips to his underwear then you call me. Me and the boys will be waiting downstairs”. Mike had laid out the plan for her and it had worked flawlessly. Now he was never going to harass any lady again, Becky would make sure of it.
