Everton took on Wolverhampton Wanderers and even though Wolves have been off form for a while, you still expect them to stretch the in-form Everton.

Iwobi gave Everton the lead in the 6th minute with a brilliant finish. He perfectly placed his effort albeit with the help of a little deflection.

Wolves won't take it lying down too and Reuben Neves scored from 6 yards out to draw his team level. Fabio Silva has been particularly wasteful of late and he wasted another beautiful chance to put Wolves ahead in the 17th minute. He needs to work on his finishing and start taking his chances.

Iwobi got another chance to put Everton ahead but it was easily saved but Everton won't be denied for too long as Michael Keane scored a brilliant header in the 77th minute after a brilliant ball in from Andre Gomes.

Neves tried to get ahead for his team with a brilliant volley before Keane's header. He had another free-kick clipped the tip of the bar much to his disappointment. He produced on the night but it was never meant to be.

Everton got their first win in 10 years against Wolverhampton Wanderers, since Moyes. Everton also recorded their 6 away victory.

Sheffield United v Newcastle is another game with decent chances from both teams. McGoldrick turned up on the night and saved the blushes of Sheffield United. Sheffield United registered their first win of the season in a classic encounter as both teams needed the win.

McGoldrick had few chances earlier on - the one that was saved and the one that he headed over the bar.

Wilson could have put Newcastle ahead too but he missed glaringly but the major disappointment of the night was when Fraser got his second yellow card of the night which happens to be his first career red card. Newcastle was reduced to 10 men and shortly after they conceded a penalty when Fernandes handled in the box. Bill Sharp stepped up and converted the spot-kick duty against 10 men Newcastle to put Sheffield United ahead.

Sheffield United turned up the heat and tried to score a second but the effort was deflected and struck the woodwork.

Newcastle could have drawn level when Sheffield United almost gifted them the equalizer with an own goal with a chested pass to the goal keeper that came close to scoring, if not for the help of the bar.

Sheffield United got their first win of the season but they still stayed in 20th position while Newcastle stays in 15th.

Everton moved to 4th place with 32 points, displacing Tottenham while Wolves stays in 14th.
