Celebration ahead! How we would behave this year and any plan years ahead?

The current situation of the country not allowing for intercity movement but thousands of people are moving somehow to their destination.

The easy part is Dhaka to North Bengal and the difficul one would be crossing the mighty Padma and whomever got their home on the other side. Many people living at Dhaka for their day job and got their family on the other part of the mighty river and it is obvious you need to cross it to reach your destination. Government imposed lockdown till 16th May which is covering the Eid holidays, it is not confirmed how they will work on the general people's movement.

Lockdown this year is not as tough as it was last year and I've seen how people moved last yer though it was locked that time. Millions of people crossed the mighty Padma by ferry, small engine boat and speed boat.

The same people are here at Dhaka this yer and people will do the same this year.

The corona situation of our neighbour country is too bad and seeing the worse at the moment so, government here is showing extra caution ⚠️. But the effective way it has not implemented, I mean garments and other industries operating where most of the people work but the country is in lockdown!

Public transport will not take you to home and you will go to home by any way so you will be expending twice or three times more than your budget, end of the day general general people will loose money and they are already surviving as hand to mouth.

My point is, why we would have to run twice or three times in a year to the village we do love, why there is no work place at you very own piece of land we love most?
No answer.

it feels like country inside a country

The city already died and holding 20 millions of people and become one of the unhealthy City of the world considering air pollution. Reference Still people gathered here to search better job and better living forgetting the health condition. Job should be available near to you home and it would reduce this kind of mass gathering.

Only urbanisation will vanish the trees from your cities and in long run you'd buy the oxygen with hundreds of thousands of you money and most of the time that liquid money will not be available to save your life.

The dream makers should come forward and make it happen, trees of the city of Dhaka dramatically reducing in the name of beautification and construction. Industries only city base. If we are not able to change our habit and demand soon we will find extinction.
